| Established in 1986, as Rims Securities Limited and licensed on 30th January, 1986 as a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company is a major player in the market having sponsored over 20 companies to the market including major ones like; Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Nal Merchant Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc), the 1st and 2nd Kaduna State Revenue Bonds. LSFL presently holds more than 75% of the capital of the company. It is presently authorised by SEC to function as Issuing House and Broker Dealer. Application has also been made to SEC for the restoration of its Funds/Portfolio Management authorization. The company presently manages a unit trust – Rims Unit Trust Fund – and has obtained the approval of SEC to rebrand and re-launch as Lighthouse Jubilee Fund. |
